 About Us
First Baptist Church of Webster isn’t some big flashy church; there are times that we sing off key, and even fumble with words when we are called on to pray. No, you won't find perfect people in our church family... We have scars, sins and baggage just like most, but Praise God we are Forgiven!
Our hearts desire is that Christ be at the center of it, Our gratitude for His gift of salvation through Jesus brings us together to grow in His word, to glorify Him through our worship, to spread His Love through ministry to every person we can and we’d LOVE to have you growing and serving The Lord right alongside us as a part of our family!
Known as a 'praying church', the church was founded in 1891, and is part of the Southern Baptist Convention as well as the Sumter Baptist Assiociation. We are located in the Central Florida community of Webster, famous for one of the states largest outdoor farmers market. We preach and teach God's Word from the King James Version Bible, however we do not dictate to our members which version of the bible they are to use. We still sing the same beautiful hymns of yesteryear, and we also support our talented members who wish to perform more current musical solo and group specials.

Our Mission Statement| Mission:
The Mission of FBC of Webster comes from our Lord Jesus Christ as He responded to the scribe who asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" Jesus answered him saying, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength; this is the first commandment. And the second is like namely this, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself". Mark 12:30-31

Our Vision Statement|
Vision:
The Vision for our church comes from the book of Acts. In chapter 2 the first church is being formed and they began to live in unity with one another under the bond of love. They cared deeply for each other and they
took care of each other. They were "All In". They loved their Lord Jesus Christ and they loved each other.
They were willing to do whatever it took to help each other and they were willing to do whatever the Lord led them to
do to spread the gospel. Acts 2:42-47
Vision for FBC of Webster and Our Community
All are invited
All are welcome
All are involved
All are on mission
